篠笛職人100周年を記念して、著名な篠笛奏者から学びます。
篠笛職人の技を学ぶことができます。10年間熟成させた竹から丹念に作られた笛は、この音楽の伝統の美しさを体現しています。
この音楽の伝統の美しさを体現している。篠笛奏者の技を披露する生演奏を体験した後は
アーティストの卓越した技を披露する生演奏を体験した後、美しい装飾が施された寺院で、自分自身で篠笛を吹いてみる機会も。めったに一般公開されることのない特別な空間で特別な時間をお過ごしください。
お食事の後は、同じ建物の更に最上階「天空劇場」にて、1300年の歴史を持つ「足立桜姫物語」をもとに新たに創作されたオペラをお楽しみください。
13人の女性歌手が日本の伝統楽器を含む伴奏に演じるユニークなパフォーマンス。
このオペラは、日本最高峰の東京芸術大学を卒業した永井秀和が作曲した傑作である。脚本は角直之。思い出に残るひとときをお過ごしください。

足立姫は、約1300年前、足立郡に伝わる伝説の中心人物です。彼女は政略結婚によって不幸な死を遂げたが、彼女を弔うために、この地に6つの寺が建てられ、それぞれに阿弥陀如来像が安置された。江戸時代に六阿弥陀巡りとし、春と秋の彼岸に列をなすほど人々が行脚し観光の一つとなったほどであったと言われています。彼女の悲劇的な運命とそれが地域に与えた影響は、足立区の歴史と文化に深く刻み込まれています。
「六阿弥陀巡り」とは、弘法大師（空海）が一夜にして一本の木から六体の阿弥陀如来像を彫り、六つの寺に安置して足立姫を弔ったことに由来します。この巡礼は江戸時代中期に大流行しました。六阿弥陀と呼ばれるが、一般的には6体の阿弥陀如来を巡拝し、さらに “余り “と “残り “と呼ばれる2体の阿弥陀如来を加えます。
足立区には性翁寺にお墓が安置されています。
巡礼は桜の季節と重なります。明治時代には「荒川堤の五色桜」として親しまれ、多くの人々に愛されてきました。しかし、交通量の増加や観光客の増加により桜の生命力は衰え、第二次世界大戦後は薪用として伐採され、一時は姿を消しました。その後、「荒川堤防の五色桜」を復活させるため、荒川左岸に里桜を中心とした4.4kmの桜並木が植えられ、今もその取り組みは続いています。あまり知られていませんが足立区は桜が多く名所の一つとなっています。今回の足立姫の動画は舎人公園、都市農業公園の桜が撮影されました。
東京の北千住エリアは、穴場の街として歴代連続一位！今も色濃く残る豊かで魅力的な歴史がある。かつては江戸と日光を結ぶ重要な宿場町であったこの街は、まもなく400周年。由緒あるお寺や古社、レトロな商店街で溢れています。ノスタルジックな昭和の雰囲気を残しながらも、東京の繁華街としての現代的な利便性も兼ね備えています。

●足立姫 没後 1,301回忌
（神亀2年(725年)、足立之荘司宮城宰相の娘・足立姫が水死の難に遭う。江戸六阿弥陀伝説の主人公・足立姫墓所）
●行基菩薩 没後 1,277回忌
（本尊「木余り如来」(東京都指定文化財)は悲運の女性・足立姫を弔うため、行基菩薩が余りの木で彫ったと伝わる）
●阿出川対馬守貞次 没後 410回忌
（元和2年(1616年)、小田原北条氏家臣・阿出川対馬守貞次を中興開基大檀那として性翁寺再興。以降400年来、阿出川氏一族の菩提寺）
●浄土宗 開宗から 851年目
（承安5年春(1175年)、法然上人によって浄土宗が開かれてから850年の節目を迎える）
●法然上人 降誕から 893年目
（長承2年(1133年)、のちに浄土宗を開いた法然上人は美作国(今の岡山県)に武士の子として誕生した。幼名は勢至丸）

昨年は足立姫没後1,300年目でした。
来年、性翁寺は開創から1,300年の節目を迎えます。
【令和七年 性翁寺 寺暦】
（仏暦2568年、西暦2025年）
●性翁寺 開創から1,299年目
（神亀3年春(726年)、行基菩薩が足立姫菩提所として開創）
●性翁寺 開山から533年目
（明応元年(1492年・コロンブスのアメリカ大陸発見の年)、龍呑上人により一寺建立）
●足立姫 没後 1,301回忌
（神亀2年(725年)、足立之荘司宮城宰相の娘・足立姫が水死の難に遭う。江戸六阿弥陀伝説の主人公・足立姫墓所）
●行基菩薩 没後 1,277回忌
（本尊「木余り如来」(東京都指定文化財)は悲運の女性・足立姫を弔うため、行基菩薩が余りの木で彫ったと伝わる）
●阿出川対馬守貞次 没後 410回忌
（元和2年(1616年)、小田原北条氏家臣・阿出川対馬守貞次を中興開基大檀那として性翁寺再興。以降400年来、阿出川氏一族の菩提寺）
●浄土宗 開宗から 851年目
（承安5年春(1175年)、法然上人によって浄土宗が開かれてから850年の節目を迎える）
●法然上人 降誕から 893年目
（長承2年(1133年)、のちに浄土宗を開いた法然上人は美作国(今の岡山県)に武士の子として誕生した。幼名は勢至丸）
●釈尊 入滅から 2,568年目

ディナーショーで演奏させて頂きました😊

久しぶりの2重奏でお届けしました🎄
また今回は"足立姫フェスティバル"
のイベントの企画の１つに参加させて頂きました。
慈眼寺での舞台や体験、路店
商店街でのパレード、
天空劇場での足立姫オペラ…と
たくさんの詰め込まれておりました✨✨
足立姫は没後1300年の歴史があり、来年は北千住が
宿場町400周年を迎えるそうです♨️
ディナーショーでも葵ちゃん作曲の足立姫のテーマ曲と共に
舞とのコラボレーションも🌸
